Dawn Klesk, soprano, has been singing professionally in the greater Twin Cities area since 2001. A graduate of St. Olaf College, she received a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Music Education. In addition to her performance experience, she has held positions spanning church music, youth choir and has taught music in the public schools.
A life-long choral music lover, Dawn was honored to become a member of the world-renowned Dale Warland Singers where she sang the final five seasons of the organization. A highlight of those years included being a part of their Grammy-nominated recording "Walden Pond". She continues to work with Dale Warland through the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra Chorale and the Minnesota Beethoven Festival Chorale. She was also a member of The Singers: Minnesota Choral Artists, conducted by Matthew Culloton, where she was frequently a featured soloist. In addition to her solo work within the ensemble setting, her expressive and vibrant singing has made Dawn a frequent soloist at numerous churches and community organizations throughout the Twin Cities.
In her spare time, she enjoys being outside with her kids, keeping up with the Minnesota Wild, and drinking coffee. Dawn lives in Isanti, Minnesota with her husband, Peter, and their children, Sophia and Ryan.
